Although this article is titled ATI Radeon X800 Pro and XT Platinum Edition: R420 Arrives, it's really more of a shootout of the newest cards being offered by the two top Graphics card manufactures. According this article by Anand Tech it seems like a pretty even race with the ATI card barely inching past the nVidia offering.
