    Zip-Bam-Bot Version XK2 - Light Sensor Subassembly

The light sensor subassembly, shown in Figure 5-5, consists of just a few pieces and takes just two steps to assemble, like the previous subassembly. It’s made out of several plates, including an angle plate for the light sensor, and the light sensor itself.

Figure 5-5.  The completed light sensor subassembly

In step 1, three plates, including 1x2 plates and an angle plate, are positioned side by side—and in midair! However, a 2x4 yellow plate brings them all together.

Light Sensor Subassembly Step 1: Lay down two 1x2 plates and an angle plate then bring them together with a 2x4 yellow plate.

Add the light sensor to the angle plate in step 2, and then you are ready to move on to the final assembly!

Light Sensor Subassembly Step 2: Connect a light sensor to angle plate.
