Top Three Flat Panels for Under $200 - Samsung SyncMaster 941BW

Just like the Dell UltraSharp line of monitors, the SyncMaster line by Samsung is a very innovative and very high quality line of flat panels.  The 941BW is a quality 19 inch monitor that can be found for about $200 online with a little searching.  This monitor offers a lot of the features that much higher priced flat panels offer.

The 941BW is a widescreen flat panel that has dimensions of 17.3 x 7.9 x 14.2 inches, and weighs a mere 9.3 pounds.  The screen is able to tilt on the base, but it does not have the adjusting capabilities of the Dell.  That is probably where the negatives end with this monitor.

The 941BW has some great specs including a maximum resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels, 4 millisecond response time, 500:1 contrast ratio, 16:10 aspect ratio (widescreen), DVI input, and Samsung's patented MagicTune, Magicolor, MagicSpeed, and MagicBright 2 technology.  All of the numbers listed here are typically found on monitors that cost $200-$300 more than the 941BW does.

The picture on this monitor is crisp and clear.  Colors are also very vivid and accurate.  The fast response time of 4 ms allows the user to easily watch movies or play video games with this monitor without worrying about ghosting.  The digital input also makes the movie and video game experience better by making the picture HD quality.

I can't say enough good things about this monitor, and I highly recommend it.  Samsung offers a three year limited warranty on this monitor.  This monitor is also nice because it is compatible with both PCs and Macs.
