Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD and the Lenovo L2060 Wide - SyncMaster Design

Like seemingly all Samsung monitors and televisions, the SyncMaster P2770HD is a highly attractive device. It has a deep black bezel that measures 1.3 inches on the sides and 1.9 inches on the bottom. The edges of the monitor are highlighted by transparent material that extends over the edges, giving the device a sleek look.

Even better is that the material gives the illusion of different color from time to time, depending on the light in the room. The feature is subtle enough to not distract from the display itself, but still is visible enough to give the monitor some added aesthetic appeal. The screen itself has a finish that helps reduce pesky glare in bright rooms.

The P2770HD can be mounted to a wall, and it measures 2.5 inches deep. If you prefer to use it on a desktop, it comes with a glossy black oval stand. The stand is not the sturdiest in the world, and it only tilts backward, without any height adjustments available. The neck connecting the stand to the monitor has an ultra-modern look to it, as it is made of transparent material.

Connectivity on the P2770HD is solid and located on the back panel. Options include a HDMI port, a DVI port, a VGA port, a port for hooking up cable or antenna, a component video port, a composite video port, and various audio ports.

If you really are in the need of a large monitor, you can't go wrong with the Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD. Its performance is solid and it can be used for multiple purposes. Plus, not only does it perform well, but it looks great too.
