Samsung SyncMaster 940BW - Let's put it together

Well, the first thing we need in this assembly process is the monitor.

I was fairly pleased with the look and feel of this monitor right out of the box. The materials and craftsmanship appeared to be of good quality, and the construction was nice and solid.  So next, I grabbed the base and attached it to the monitor.

The base attaches by fitting two tabs from the bottom of the monitor into place on the base, then tightening a small silver nut with your fingers until it is snug.

Now that it's standing, we need to attach the appropriate cords to use it. The connectors for these cords are actually inside the monitor, and you will need to open an access panel to get to them.

By gently lifting, the panel opens and is detached from the monitor.  The connection plugs are then easily reachable.

As you can see here, attaching your required cables is a snap.

And now our cables are plugged in, and we will re-attach the door and hook the monitor up to a computer for testing.
