Samsung SyncMaster 940BW - The packaging

The Samsung SyncMaster 940BW (which, from now on, I will most probably refer to as "The Monitor") is packaged in a nice slim box, with a convenient carrying handle. The whole package weighs approx 10 lbs, and is carried comfortably by the strap. In retrospect, it is almost hard to believe you are walking around with a 19 inch monitor in your hand.

Here's a shot of the box sitting on my table, and begging to be opened.  I was feeling in a charitable mood, so I figured I would do just that.

When I opened the box, I found a number of items stowed in little niches in the Styrofoam form.  It is refreshing to see a company who takes the time to create sturdy packaging for their products.

After removing these items and the top layer of foam, we find the monitor itself cradled within.

Here is the remainder of the box contents.  These include:

    • Analog Cable
    • Digital Cable
    • Power Cable
    • Instruction Manual
    • Driver/Utility CD
    • Monitor Base (not pictured)
