Samsung SyncMaster 226BW Monitor - Summary

The Samsung SyncMaster 226 BW is an LCD monitor that most consumers will be more than happy with. Its easy to use interface, good looks, and 22 inch screen make it a very desirable choice among flat panel users from gamers to the average computer user.

The amazingly accurate color reproduction is due to the MagicColor and MagicBright technologies which Samsung has implemented in the 226 BW. These technologies will allow the user to feel comfortable viewing the screen during bright conditions as well as dimly lit conditions, such as nighttime.

The fast response time of this monitor make it ideal for watching movies and for gaming. There are no visible ghost visions following the movement on this monitor, which make it ideal for fast action and applications which have a lot of movement. The quick response time is not always the case in monitors in the 226 BW's price range.

Overall, I would give this LCD monitor a 9.5 out of 10 for its value. I don't know if there is a better alternative currently on the market for $300 or less. This will be a great upgrade for people looking to get rid of their bulky CRT monitors and are ready for the innovative technology that Samsung offers. The quality of this monitor is evident in every aspect of this flat panel and is backed up with a 3 year warranty on parts and labor.

I almost forgot to mention that this monitor can help save on energy costs, as it is energy star efficient. So, I guess you could figure that it will pay itself off in the long run with cheaper electricity bills. This is just another positive on a flat panel monitor that is almost perfect in its class, and is sure to keep the user satisfied for years to come.
