NEC Accusync LCD193wxm Flat Panel Review - Final Thoughts

My first impression of this flat panel was that this was another basic, below-average flat panel LCD monitor.  I was right about the basic part, but I was wrong about the below-average part.  This monitor is very basic in its features, but it really shines with its excellent image quality and performance.  The 5 millisecond response time and 1000:1 contrast ratio are both exceptional figures for a flat panel for under $200.  I also love the ability of this monitor to run
multiple applications on the screen at the same time.  I would have liked to see HDCP capabilities in this model, but that doesn't diminish the image quality at all.

NEC stands behind the quality of their products, and they have tagged the LCD193wxm with a 3-year warranty on parts and labor.  This will give the user some piece of mind when purchasing this product.  This flat panel turned out to be a solid choice for under $200, and I think beginners and business people alike will enjoy the quality in this monitor.
