LG Flatron L194WS 19 Wide LCD Monitor - Conclusions
(Page 5 of 5 )
We’ve arrived at the end of this monitor review. I hope that you’ve enjoyed the ride and that you found the content highly informative. Keep in mind that everything presented here is from my subjective point-of-view. My final conclusion shouldn’t surprise anyone, especially if you’ve followed my review with interest.
I am giving 9 points on a scale of 1 to 10 to the LG Flatron L194WS Wide LCD Monitor. One point has been subtracted because the monitor sports only a D-SUB (VGA analog) connector instead of both D-SUB and DVI. Keeping up with the pace of technology is pretty much expected these days and DVI is the future, whether we accept this or not; overlooking its importance is not a wise decision.
Nevertheless, I certainly won’t question the decision of LG Electronics and the way they handle business; D-SUB analog is more than fine with me. One thing is definitely clear that we cannot ignoret: this particular wide LCD monitor is an all-around excellent product. It's a byproduct of up-to-date bleeding-edge technology and spectacular finishing where the entire product really does what it claims.
None of the product characteristics and/or features are ignored or half-way manufactured, implemented, or engineered. Each function and feature was most certainly designed and created with a sense of total professionalism — business etiquette that’s worth following.
All in all, Life is Good with LG. I am very satisfied with this particular model and I am able to wholeheartedly recommend it to others. As a result, I am handing out with absolute confidence the DevHardware Gold Award to the LG Flatron L194WS Wide LCD. The Platinum Award was just as close, but some people might require DVI. For me DVI wasn’t a deal-breaker, because I couldn’t take advantage of its fanciest possibilities.
