    The LG Flatron L194WS has quite an extensive and impressive list of specifications and features. Its native resolution is 1440x900 on vertical frequencies up to 75Hz. It goes up to 1680x1050 too, which represents the 20.1” wide native resolution. As you can see it has the famous 5000:1 contrast ratio thanks to DFC. While you are reading the specifications, please check out a few of the shots from different view angles.

    First, let’s note that this monitor unfortunately doesn’t have any DVI-D connector. This means that you can connect it via the traditional good ol’ D-SUB (VGA) analog connector. Some might consider this a deal-breaker, but they shouldn’t because we’ll check out the overall performance of this monitor later. Should you really need DVI-D with HDCP support, then I’d recommend the L194WT model. It has both.

    Finally, we are going to see how this monitor performs, so please buckle your seatbelts and let’s continue our journey. I’ll also recommend an analysis method to thoroughly test a newly purchased monitor. If possible do that at the store.
