High Tech Memories: Digital Picture Frame Review - Open the box
(Page 2 of 4 )
This frame seems to be generic, as I found no company name on the box, and no manufacturer for it on the Internet. As it is, it arrived from ThinkGeek in one of their standard shipping boxes. Upon opening the outer box, I found a plain unmarked box inside.

Opening the box took all of two seconds, and suddenly I had the contents of the box laid out before me:

The instruction manual claims that the contents include:
- 7” Photo Frame
- AC Adapter
- Stand
- Remote Control
- Instruction Booklet
A quick inspection confirms that I have everything that I should. At this point, I decided to take a closer look at the frame itself.

Above is a shot of the back of the box. The six buttons on the top control the operation of the features in the frame. At the bottom of the picture is the evidence that speakers exist in this frame, and that music can be played through them.

Here’s the left side of the frame (from the front). You see the power adapter, a power switch, a USB interface, A/V out, and headphones.

The right side holds different format card slots, to accept whatever card formats you may have.

Finally, here’s a pic of the remote. You can use it to remotely power the frame, as well as navigate the menus and pictures, and raise or lower the volume if your media is equipped with audio.
