Flat Panel TVs Under 500 Dollars - Flat Panel TV Prices
(Page 2 of 4 )
Oh wait, we go so carried away with the possibilities that come along with a flat panel TV we forget completely about their cost. After all, to say that getting a flat screen TV was the most cost effective of options would be a lie, and not a small lie. That does not mean, however that you will have to pass on the idea completely. Yes, you could get an older style for under $50 if you shop around, but flat screen TVs can also come in at reasonable prices too.
What's that, you say that can't possibly be true and you refuse to believe me? Well, I could just argue with you until we are both blue in the face, but that would get us nowhere. So in order to prove my point, I am going to show you some inexpensive flat panel TVs that you can get in your home by the end of the week if you order online or the end of today if you venture out to a retail location nearby. The cut off point will be $500 when the item is not on sale or otherwise on clearance. That is not to say that you may not find a great deal if you are willing to stalk the sales flyers.
Just to clear one more thing up before we begin this process of looking for the TV of your dreams on a more down-to-earth budget: the odds are more than a little low that you will find a 54- or 72-inch model on this list, so if your dream involves being able to charge the neighbors admission to watch a movie, these are not the recommendations for you. Also you may want to be aware that doing this is probably a violation of your local laws, your nation's copyright law and Interpol copyright laws anyway. If you still choose to do it, that's all on you and you can't say that you have not been warned.
Also, just so you know, this is no place for label snobs and brand devotees. I won't steer you "off the back of a truck" or anything, but the odds are low that we will be shopping at the Sharper Image or any other upscale venues today. Those are just the breaks; good quality can be found everywhere, despite what the marketing departments of many brands will tell you.
One other thing to think about: if you are buying a TV and that purchase falls more into the "I want it" then the "I need it" category, then you may want to consider delaying your new purchase, at least for a while. If you are a patient person, then give it a year, and you will be rewarded greatly. If you are not, then at least try to wait for one of the following times to save on cash: early January sales, slump sales, Easter sales, Black Friday or Winter Holiday sales. Any of these will help you to snag a better price.
