Dell Ultra Sharp 2407WFP - Summary
What can you say about a company that consistently produces quality flat panels with time-tested quality and features? The 2407WFP is another great TFT flat panel from Dell which is a great performer. If you are a gamer, this may be the perfect monitor for you, because of the fast response times, strong image quality, many inputs, and large size. This monitor is also great for multi-taskers who need to run multiple applications on the computer screen at the same time.
The only minor issues that I have with this monitor is the sometimes wobbly base, no exit button from the menu, and occasional ghosting during fast action on the screen. Most of these issues are quite common in comparable LCD flat panels, though, so I would not worry too much about these issues. I definitely think that the positives outweigh the negatives with the 2407WFP.
This monitor does very well in the performance category, where it boasts a response time of 6 milliseconds. This helps to make the 2407WFP the best performer in its class. This flat panel also shines in the image quality department with vivid colors and good contrast.

The bottom line with this wide screen flat panel is that it is a great performer with solid image quality that 99 percent of users will appreciate. The other one percent are the really nit-picky people who look into every little detail and flaw of the monitor. The fact is, most users will not notice any of its minor flaws, and they will notice all of the positives. Add that fact to the award winning customer service of Dell and their great 5 year warranty, and you got yourself a winning flat panel.
