Toshiba PDR-3300 Digital Camera Review - The Long and Short Of It All

    Pros:

    • Great value for the price.
    • Exceptional picture quality.
    • Very versatile with the number of manual settings.
    • Good loading time for images, and the ability to shoot another in the meantime.
    • The remote.

    Cons:

    • You can't take more than five high quality pictures without the use of a memory card.
    • Goes through batteries quickly.
    • Could use better software.
    • Zoom only goes up to 2.8x optical zoom.
    • It's ugly.

    The End

All in all, I'm extremely happy with how easy it is to use. I upgraded the firmware from the website the minute I took it out of the box, the process being smooth like butter.

This is one camera which refuses to allow people to complain about 'pixelated' images, or fleshed-out images which are so common in cheaper cameras. I do believe it would meet the needs of most amateur photographers and first-timers alike. With upgraded memory, batteries, and editing software, you get one sweet system, for a decent price. In closing, I'd like to leave you with a couple of shots I took at the car show in Toronto.
