The Canon EOS Rebel XSi Camera - Conclusion
(Page 4 of 4 )

The Canon EOS Rebel XSi is a superb entry level DSLR. The camera lacks in terms of design and aesthetic quality. One would have hoped that the XSi would have come with an improved grip and feel after the bad reviews of its predecessor, the XTi, on this topic.
The camera also is not as "pretty" as one would hope, but this is probably just nitpicking. After all, it is a camera, not a piece of artwork.
The Rebel XSi does get the job done where it needs to though, and that is in the field of photo quality. Simply put, the EOS Rebel XSi is unmatched in the quality of photos it churns out.
Combine that with its great auto focus system, its live view system, and its ability for customization, and you have a definite winner that is worth buying for amateur photographers. More serious photographers might want to consider buying the Canon EOS Rebel XSi as a backup camera.
