The Canon EOS Rebel XSi Camera
Those looking for a DSLR, or digital single-lens reflex camera need to look no further than the Canon EOS Rebel XSi. It is Canon’s latest addition to the DSLR lineup and is one notch above the manufacturer’s XTi model. In this review we'll see what makes this camera tick.

While the Rebel XSi may have average looks in terms of its design, its performance and photo quality are far from it. The EOS Rebel XSi is flexible enough to satisfy both amateur photographers and those more serious about their craft by offering plenty of custom functions. The Canon name always brings high expectations, and the EOS Rebel XSi meets them, thanks mostly in part to its unmatched photo quality. The Canon EOS Rebel XSi is priced at $899.99.
The EOS Rebel XSi has the highest resolution of any Canon offering in the entry level market to date. It comes with the company's own CMOS sensor that features 12.2 mega pixels of resolution. The Rebel XSi also comes with a nine point auto focus system that is an upgrade from the XTi model.
One of the best features of the new EOS Rebel XSi is its large and beautiful three inch LCD. The display comes in handy when using Canon's live view system. This system is also new to Canon's entry level camera lineup and allows you to use the LCD for shot composition. The Rebel XSi's live view system lets the camera auto focus without disrupting the on screen preview. This is something that was not present in previously manufactures DSLRs that had live view capabilities.
