Sony DSC-T7 Ultra Slim Cybershot
A friend ran into my house clutching the Cybershot. What immediately struck me was the slimness of the digital camera. Being a lover of gadgets and gizmos, I immediately insisted on having it in my clutches for at least a day; that would enable me to write a review on it and also to get a feel for what might possibly be my next digital camera (I am currently eying an Olympus, since I'm not too smitten with my current Mercury Cyberpix).
The obstacles facing me were enormous. My friend claimed to have misplaced his manual. What was I to do? I am a firm believer in learning without teachers, so I plowed on, and entered into a thrilling journey of discovery. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the Sony Ultra Slim DSC-T7 Cybershot (with Carl Zeiss lens):

Award Winner
This particular slim line camera won the European Photo and Imaging Awards, Technical Image Press Association for 2005, for best digital ultra compact camera. I strongly believe that in the areas of power options, lens capabilities and general good looks, it will be pretty hard to one-up this particular gizmo.
The Sony Corporation
Sony is known for video game consoles, electronics, computers and (recently) defective batteries. They're not authorities on digital cameras, but they have shown in this case that excellence is not bound by categories. They simply outsourced the parts for which they are not renowned. Well, they outsourced the lens to renowned Swiss lens making company Carl Zeiss, who stuck in the Vario - Tessar model. Everything else is beautifully Sony.
