    Panasonic D-Snap SV-AV50 Camera Review

Today, we check out an interesting adition to Panasonic's already behemoth product line. This lightweight and easy-to-use digital camera from Panasonic will turn heads while you are using it, but does it offer antything more than looks?

Most of you out there own a camcorder right? How big is it? What kind of film do you use? Mini-DV tapes, 8mm, VHS-C or maybe you still dragging around that huge monster of a device that takes the old-fashioned VHS tapes and uses batteries the size of a brick?! Well, whatever it is, we urge you to look at something totally new and exhilarating, especially for people who like all their thingamajigs and whatchamacallits to do everything at once and fit in their shirt pocket. There are a few companies on the market that manufacture ultra-compact camcorders right now. Here are some examples:

    Sony

    DSNAP Review
    AIPTEK

    DSNAP Review
    SiPix

    DSNAP Review
    Gateway

    DSNAP Review
    Panasonic

There are others, but these seem to be the brands most widely available when it comes to shopping for one on the web.

The one that we have here today is the D-Snap model from Panasonic, the SV-AV50 model that uses nothing but an SD flash memory card for media.
