Nikon CoolPix P80 Camera - Features
The high resolution viewfinder display of the Nikon CoolPix P80 camera measures 2.7 inches and is composed of around 230,000 dots. The P80's LCD display has five different settings for brightness that you can adjust to your liking, although at times it may be difficult to see if you are outside on a particularly sunny day. This could be a slight annoyance for photographers that like taking outdoor shots frequently.
While shooting pictures, the display gives you 97 percent coverage and 100 percent full coverage of photos taken during playback. A dedicated button on the back of the P80 allows you to switch between using the LCD and the electronic viewfinder options. The electronic viewfinder has a diopter for eyesight adjustment that lets you see through the lens no matter what type of lighting environment you are in, and like the LCD it gives 97 percent coverage while taking photos and 100 percent coverage during playback.

The Nikon CoolPix P80 has a bevy of features to keep any photography enthusiast happy. The new EXPEED image processor allows the P80 to churn out natural-looking photos that are full of sharpness and high quality. It also has a 10.1 mega-pixel sensor that allows you to capture every detail in your photos with high resolution.
Its main selling point, however is its 18x Optical Wide-Angle Zoom-NIKKOR Lens that provides excellent pictures and the power to photograph a wide variety of pictures. For instance, you could take a wide photo of an entire football stadium and then zoom into the action with awesome clarity and precision right down to the players on the field. This is an awesome feature to have and can definitely provide photographers with the power needed to increase their photo taking capabilities no matter how far away they are from the action. Another great feature the P80 gives you is the ability to record home movies in high quality that are only limited by the amount of memory on your memory card.
