    Fujifilm Finepix A500 Review - Specifications/Features

    • Resolution: 5.0 MP captures enough detail for large prints (super CCD technology enhances the resolution).
    • Lens: 3x zoom
    • Viewfinder: Optical/LCD
    • LCD Size: 1.8 inch
    • Shutter: 2-1/500 Max
    • Aperture: 3.3
    • Memory Type: xD Picture Cards
    • Battery: 2 AA Batteries
    • Dimensions: 3.7x2.4x1.1in (93x60x27mm)
    • Weight: 6.0 oz (173 g)
    • Price: around 178 dollars/105 pounds brand new (can be lower if you are a bargain hound).

    Hexagonal Pixels

The super CCD technology simply means you can (theoretically) capture more details in your shot. With five million pixels worth of resolution this technology offers you the opportunity to have very professional looking, very crisp shots. The CCD is a really special feature of this low cost yet highly capable camera. Some other features that are found on this camera are listed below.

    Special Features

    • Movie mode (without sound).
    • PictBridge support.
    • DPOF (Digital Print Order Format) compatibility.
    • Two- or 10-second Self-Timer for delayed shutter release.
    • Shutter speeds from 1/1500 to two seconds, depending on exposure mode.
    • Built-in flash with six modes.
    • ISO equivalent to 100 to 400.
    • 64-zones Multi metering.
    • Close-up lens setting.

I believe we are done with the technical specifications and information, so let's look at some design features like the aesthetics and ergonomics (how easy it is to use).
