Fujifilm Finepix A500 Review

The Fujifilm Finepix A500 can be summed up in a few words. Or can it? Today we take one through its paces and give you more than few words about its features, ease of use, and price.

Finepix A500 is "simple;" that's the one word summary, but if you're seeking to buy a digital camera or you're looking for details on the Finepix A500, that one word summary wont do. Or will it? Shall we try "easy to use"? I believe that is over used.

I guess I will have to go into the details. I have handled three or four digital cameras during the past month on various occasions, so you can expect to see maybe one or two more camera reviews from me, but I liked the Finepix A500 for a variety of reasons. It won't win any awards (not yet and probably never) but it's a gizmo that doesn't put a heavy dent on your pocket and the technology is easy to understand. One thing that will dent your budget a little,  however, is the high comparative cost of the xD memory card.

I will look at the specifications, special features/feature, the aesthetics, image quality, ergonomics, then provide a summary of the pros and cons. But first a word about the price: for its features, this camera is cheap.

Tips For Geeks?

I sincerely hope I can make this camera review interesting, however there is not much turn one one about the Finepix A500 (the raves and rants section should be interesting though, so stick around). Let's dig in and get all the geeky technical stuff out of the way.
