Fujifilm FinePix S200HD Digital Camera - Design

The Fujifilm FinePix S200HD digital camera possesses an average design, at least when it comes to the digital cameras of this era. So, if you’ve bought a digital camera in the last five years, you probably won’t be impressed, because it’s not as diminutive as some of its competitors. Weighing 17.1 ounces and measuring 4.4 inches by 3.1 inches high, the device is not small enough to fit in your pants pocket. So, if you can’t hold it or put it in your purse, you will probably need to buy a carrying case (which costs around $20).

However, if you’re relatively new to the world of digital camcorders, such specs might be impressive, especially considering the S200HD’s low cost. True, it’s not 100% compact, but it’s small enough to allow for much easier manipulation. And, thanks to its convenient hand/grip compartment and thumb rest, using the device with one hand becomes just as easy as using it with two.

The S200HD also has a generous viewing area, considering its size. This viewing area is located on the back of the device, where there is an LCD screen that is 2.7 inches high. There is also an electronic view finder (or EVF), that is 0.2 inches high. With these dimensions, you’ll have no problems capturing your image, whether you decide to take a general snapshot or record an actual video.

As far as general aesthetics, the Fujifilm FinePix S200HD digital camera is mostly black with some silver outlining. White is used for the colors of the labels. As a result, the S200HD remains stylish yet clearly visible, even for people who may have vision problems. So, basically, when you own a Fujifilm FinePix S200HD digital camera, you get a device that looks like it’s worth $1,000 or more, despite what you actually paid for it.
