However, if you are a fan of the SD790's style, it pulls it off well, and you are certain to be happy with the look of your camera. In addition to the body, the 3" high quality LCD screen will allow you to see all the details of your image before you load it on your computer. According to Canon, the screen also offers a remarkably wide viewing angle that should let your friends gather around you to see the group photo.
Overall, if you are looking to spend $300 on a compact digital camera, the SD790 is a pretty good choice. There are certainly strengths and weakness in the camera, but the total package is high quality and good value.
