Everyone knows CoolerMaster's rep for making excellent quality cases. They have always been well designed, but traditionally have also been very expensive. As with every good thing, there comes a price. And the price with the Wave Master actually isn't too bad! While other top-notch aluminum cases still remain upwards of $200, the Wave Master (released in May) currently costs approximately $160 at many online vendors. Well, with expenses aside, lets get to know the case a little bit better.

Introduction

As with every good thing, there comes a price. And the price with the Wave Master actually isn't too bad! While other top-notch aluminum cases still remain upwards of $200, the Wave Master (released in May) currently costs approximately $160 at many online vendors. Well, with expenses aside, lets get to know the case a little bit better.
Pictures do not do this case justice whatsoever. So take what you see, and imagine it being twice as good, and then you'll have a fairly accurate image of the Wave Master.
Packaging and Specs
I received the case directly from CoolerMaster, so how you receive yours may vary. The Wave Master came shipped in its own box, with two yellow carrying straps for convenience.
Aluminum cases are generally lighter than steel cases, but the Wave Master package still weighs in at a hefty 22 pounds; quite a bit heavier than my previous 10 pound aluminum case. If cases were army vehicles, my last would be a Humvee and the Wave Master would be a tank. It's built like a tank too, as you will soon see. Very nicely packaged, a sign of CoolerMaster's great quality control. In the box we have the case and a little baggy containing a few sheets of paper detailing the case's inner connections and PSU back plate as well as a bag of screws/motherboard fittings.
