    MSI EX-700X Notebook

Notebooks are all about mobility. They are meant to let the user get the job done even while he or she is away from a power plug, and even, in some cases, compete with desktop computers. Today I have my eye on the MSI EX-700X and I won’t let it escape until I’ve reached a verdict as to how well it fulfills its purpose.

I think I don't have to tell you why you need a laptop, so let's get down to business right away and see what you'll get if you choose the MSI EX-700 X. MSI (based in Taiwan, if you're wondering) is a "newbie" to the laptop manufacturing and mass-production business, so there's no legendary history backing up their products yet. Nonetheless, they manage to do quite well.

The box features the specifications of the device on its side, and of course the laptop inside. The packaging is good and inspires trust; I have nothing to complain about here. Once we got the laptop outside the box, the first impression is of a nice, black, aesthetic cover. It's a simple matte black, not glossy, which should hide fingerprints; it means that you will spend less time cleaning it.

The MSI logo with the shining metal around it looks even better once you start up the system; it lights up. But let's take a look at the specifications of this specimen:
