Jetway MiniQ 460B SFF PC Review - In Conclusion
(Page 7 of 7 )
Conclusion

Aswe've seen here, the MiniQ 460B has its ups and downs: it looks great, has killer performance with its Intel 845 chipset, and is easy toinstall. On the other hand, the cooling system is very inefficient andvery loud. I had to swap 80mm exhaust fans and under volt the CPU fanin order to have the computer running quietly. The fans, in fact, donot auto adjust speed themselves, unlike other SFF PCs.
Here’s a synopsis:
Highs
- Intel 845 chipset
- Awesome price
- Sleek, professional exterior; comes in different colors; perfect for home and office
- Onboard 6 channel audio, 10/100mbs LAN, and video
- "Stealthed" CD bay
Lows
- Little to no overclocking
- Only a 200w PSU (non PFC)
- Inefficient cooling; loud too
- RAM placement is terrible
Allin all, I know my friend will be happy with this computer. It performsgreat, looks very sleek, and is quiet after some minor adjustments.Best of all, it's relatively cheap in comparison to any complete systemfound in stores or online. Are there things the MiniQ loses points for?Certainly, but nothing's perfect, right?
