How to Max Out a Dell XPS 600 and Your Credit Card - Hooking it all up
(Page 6 of 8 )
Ok, now for the fun part, hooking everything up. For starters, I needed to open the keyboard and mouse. As I said before, the Saitek keyboard is very cool. Here are a couple of pics of it out of the box.

As you can see, the keyboard is very cool just sitting in a lit room, or glowing in a dark room. Next, I opened the mouse itself. And set it on the desk.

So following the instructions from Dell, the very first thing I was supposed to do is connect the monitors to the PC. This was easy, since there was only one possible way I could go with it. Here's a shot of what I mean.

Now, I could do a step by step picture campaign of each wire I hooked up, but I'm not going to do that. Needless to say, it took me about 10 minutes of hooking up wires, including the speakers. Here's a number of shots showing all the wire connections.

That's quite a number of wires. But now that we are all hooked up, let's push the power button and see if it works!
