How to Max Out a Dell XPS 600 and Your Credit Card - Open me first
(Page 3 of 8 )
Ok, now that I have already opened two other boxes, I'll open the box that wanted to be first. To be honest, I wanted to know where my peripherals were before I pulled out the computer. If we had ordered the stock keyboard and mouse that normally come by default, they would have been inside the big box with the computer. But since we went for all the bells and whistles, they came packaged separately.

Opening the box, I was immediately greeted by Dell's quick-start sheet. I've been assembling PCs for many years, but I chose to follow their directions anyway, to see how accurate they were, and how easy they were to follow. Here's a shot of the instructions.

The instructions are quite clear and easy enough to follow. I set them aside and pulled out the big black box that sat above the computer. This contains all the software CDs and manuals for the machine. I organized everything so I could get a picture of it all to show just how much JUNK is in the box. Here's a peek.

With this black box out of the way, I was able to pull the PC itself out of the box. Here's a couple of shots of the PC as it comes out of the box.

Ok, now the computer is out of the box, and it leaves three boxes to go. So let's open the monitors.
