It seems that many people value portability and comfort at the moment. What's better to accommodate that need than netbooks? With their small yet efficient design, they make the perfect solution for computing on the run. So let’s take a look at the Hannspree Hannsnote.

When it comes to buying electronics, especially computers, many want the peace of mind that comes with buying a trusted brand that has a decent history of producing such product. Such is the case with myself. I could be a Dell customer for as long as they are around; I buy only their laptops because I have had a good history with them.
For those in the market for a new netbook who wish to venture into the depths of the unknown, however, comes the Hannspree Hannsnote. Hannspree is a European company that, up until now, has mostly manufactured televisions. The Hannsnote is the company’s first-ever laptop of any kind. The results are not bad either, when you consider that they have mostly focused in the past on making televisions with unique designs.
While the Hannsnote won’t blow you away, it does hold its own, considering many Netbooks are similar at the moment in terms of power and features. Surprisingly, Hannspree decided to stay simple with the design of the Hannsnote, without adding any flair that could have helped it to stand out in the ever-growing crowd of netbooks on the market. That said, it does have serviceable performance, and some nice extras to keep someone in search of a simple device for everyday tasks happy.
The Hannspree Hannsnote is reasonably priced, retailing for $379.99. Hannspree offers the Hannsnote with a one-year limited warranty on parts and labor. Unfortunately, you only get a six-month warranty on the power supply and the battery. You can get new drivers from the company’s website, and receive tech support via email or phone during certain hours.
