    HP's TouchSmart tz2z Touch Screen laptop is a laptop with a difference. It may seem strange to call it a bargain when it costs more than $1,200, but when you add up the features it offers, it may be well worth it. Keep reading as we take a closer look.As the appearance of laptops become more space-aged with their slim, sleek, shiny and otherworldly exteriors, their features seem to be left behind in the dust. After all, what more could we expect from these amazing, compact machines that enable us to work on spreadsheets while at the beach or check our e-mail while waiting for a train? That being said, some technology companies are pushing the limits and challenging what the average consumer expects from their laptop.

    HP’sTouchSmart tx2z Touch Screen Laptop isn’t the first laptop to offer a touch screen display and it surely won’t be the last. Last springDelldebuted a laptop with multi-touch drivers that enabled users to use multiple fingers on its capacitive touch screen to rotate pictures, as well as pinch and zoom in on websites.

    Though it’s not the first, HP’s TouchSmart is the first multi-touch tablet aimed at consumers. Dell’s XT was $2,000 when it first hit the market, and it proved to be well beyond a price point consumers were willing -- and able -- to pay. Hopefully that won’t be the case with HP’s TouchSmart tx2z, which iscurrently retailing for around $1,299(base model). It may seem pricey to some, but it’s actually a steal considering the cutting edge technology featured on the device. With a bright, crisp, accurate display and a killer price tag, consumers would be pressed to find a more interesting laptop, but is it worth every penny? Let’s take a look at the specifics of HP’s new TouchSmart...
