HP Pavilion dv6-1375dx and Sony Vaio VGN-NW270F/S - Sony Vaio VGN-NW270F/S laptop

The Sony Vaio VGN-NW270F/S is a 15.5-inch mainstream laptop with solid performance and a great design. It even has some bonuses too, like a Blu-ray player. This particular model can be found in retail stores for around $800. It comes with a standard one-year warranty, and you can get tech support through the company's website or their 24/7 toll-free line.

The Vaio VGN-NW270F/S has a 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 processor with 2 MB of L2 cache. The dual-core processor gives the laptop solid performance and should be fine for any casual users looking for a laptop for daily use. It also comes with 4 GB of DDR2 SDRAM to give it multitasking power.

A decent amount of storage for all of your files is on board in the form of a 320 GB hard drive. For graphics, you get an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD card. The six-cell battery on the Vaio VGN-NW270F/S offers a solid four hours of usage, making it a good choice for frequent travelers. As with many other laptops being sold now, you get Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64-bit pre-installed.
