HP Pavilion dv5-1004nr Laptop - Problems

The keyboard of the HP Pavilion dv5-1004nr is silver in color; it looks great due to its glossy finish. This glossy finish may look good, but if you have slippery or sweaty fingers, you may find it a bit uncomfortable to the touch. The keys are smooth, though, and do not produce a lot of noise while typing.
The touch pad has the same glossy finish as the keyboard, and can feel slippery at times as well. Above the keyboard are touch sensitive media controls that are lighted and change color when used. With these controls you can mute, adjust the volume, or toggle Wi-Fi.
Now on to the biggest issue with the HP Pavilion dv5-1004nr: its battery life. To say that the battery life on the HP Pavilion dv5-1004nr is underwhelming would be an understatement, and for those looking for a laptop for college this could be the ultimate deal breaker.
The HP Pavilion dv5-1004nr only operates for about two hours maximum on its battery alone. This could render it useless if you are looking for something to take to class to take notes on all day. Another problem with the power on the HP Pavilion dv5-1004nr is its three prong plug, which may not be compatible with many rooms you need to plug it into.
If you are looking for a laptop and price is the primary issue, the HP Pavilion dv5-1004nr may be the laptop for you. If you are looking for a high performance machine, definitely look elsewhere, as the HP Pavilion dv5-1004nr is limited, especially when it comes to battery life.
