Asus Essentio CM5571-BR003 and HP Pavilion p6230y - Asus Essentio Design

The design of the Asus Essentio CM5571-BR003 is of the industrial variety, with its rigid and boxy corners.  A standard black color scheme is used, with a large silver power button highlighting the front panel.  The tower should fit in well with any office or home setting, and it measures 13.9 inches tall by 6.8 inches wide by 15.6 inches deep and weighs 17.4 pounds.

The front panel has doors that flip open and conceal the DVD drive, expansion bay, two USB ports, audio jacks, and the digital media reader.  The rest of the connectivity, which is pretty good, rests on the back panel.  It includes six more USB ports, an Ethernet port, a HDMI port, a VGA port, a DVI port, and more audio jacks.

As far as recommendations go with the Asus Essentio CM5571-BR003, it would only receive one if price was of utmost importance.  It is fine as a budget desktop, as the price is very affordable and the performance is satisfactory.  However, if you are willing to pay a little more, you can find a desktop with a faster CPU and more features, like wireless networking and a larger hard drive, for example.
