Apple Mac Book Pro - You've Got Power But is it Safe?
I have had some bad experiences with notebook power cables.
While at a friend's house, I didn't notice his notebook was awkwardly plugged in. When he went to get me something to drink, I got up and wandered around. Suddenly, I felt something hook on my leg. The next minute, there was a loud crash, and unfortunately there was a notebook with a shattered screen on the floor. That was the most terrible day of my life. From that day on, I decided that I would never buy a notebook.
With the MacBook, we decided to test the MagSafe power cable and we got positive results. The first time, I decided to tug the cable a little just to see what would happen, and guess what? The cable disconnected itself so very easily that we were baffled so we decided to finally pull it and the same exact thing happened. So whether you pull or tug the wire, or trip on the power cord, the MacBook will disconnect its power cable in order to protect itself.

Display Performance
Before I bought the MacBook, I had read up extensively on it. For 8 months, I had been looking for a Mac that would fit me. But when I received an e-mail (the Apple newsletter) and I saw that Apple had finally introduced the Intel core duo-processor into their notebooks, I decided that I would buy the MacBook. The real reason why I wanted to buy the MacBook was for gaming, because of its graphics performance. So I got Doom 3 Beta for Mac from a download site. When I ran the game, I noticed something; it looked better on the Mac than it looked on a PC. So much for the cliche of notebooks not working well as graphics-intensive gaming machines!
