    System specs are as follows:

    AMS gBOX Blue

    1. Intel 2.4B/533 P4 CPU

    2. 512MB OCZ PC3700 EL DDR

    3. Maxtor ATA133 7200RPM HD

    4. ABIT Siluro GF4 Ti4200 64MB

    Software Used:

    1. Microsoft WindowsXP Professional SP1 installed

    2. nVidia 43.45 WHQL Drivers

    3. Current Intel Chipset and Video Drivers

Lets start out with 3DMark01 SE Build 330 by FutureMark. This has been around with us for awhile but is tried and true and still a viable system benchmark by which many system builders and tweakers compare their systems.

Here we see a very close score between the gBOX Blue running the Intel 845GE chipset and the 845PE chipset. A good indication that this SFF PC is actually the real deal. As expected, the Intel Extreme onboard graphics make a poor showing in 3DMark. Still quite a bit better than I expected however. Interestingly enough, the quality and framerates with IEG were fairly decent. But the capabilities of the onboard video can't compare to the GF4.

Again the gBOX Blue continues to impress. CPU and Memory marks are slightly above the 845PE chipset running the same processor, and of course the gBOX Blue performs even better when overclocked to 2.6GHz @144MHz FSB.

3DMark03 didn't seem to like Intel Extreme Graphics as seen below
