    Intel Pentium 4 3.0C 800MHz FSB - Benchmarking Part 2

    Benchmarking Continued

We know the Comanche 4 demo is rather CPU intensive especially at 800 x 600 which is where we ran the test today. We see the natural progression from CPU to CPU with a higher clock and surprisingly HT gives us no advantage here. Raw MHz however raises performance.

The added bandwidth of the 3.0C is certainly showing it's presence here. We are seeing more of an increase with the extra FSB of the 3.0C than we are with HT enabled. A move to 3.5GHz continues to show higher performance across the board.
