    Installation

It has to be said, that after assembly, the rest is no different to putting in a new drive. The Rheobus requires a 5.25 inch slot, so just pop out the blanking plate, and slide in the unit, tighten up the screws, plug in the attached devices- no problemo.

You have 1x main power cable in (lower right hand side) and 4x small 3 pin plugs for the devices you wish to control. The socket connectors are all keyed, so there is no danger of plugging in anything the wrong way round.

    Conclusion

The problem with modern PC's is that they require heaps of cooling, this involves fitting lots of fans, this brings noise into our lives. And as anyone who has owned a PC for a year or more will have noticed, in winter is isn't necessary to have the fans running at full speed, so in cooler climates or when the CPU is running idle, the ability to turn down the noise is not only desirable, it's a necessity!

    Rheobus with 4x fans

    Rheobus with 2x fans & 2x CCFL

Sunbeam's Rheobus kit is the certainly answer to finger tip control, leading to a quieter or cooler life for you and your PC. Very useful, highly recommended.

    Pros

    • You control 4x devices with ease

    • Looks great, with blue & green LEDs available

    Cons

    • You may need to also order the power cable extenders
