    OCA Project Case

A few months ago I set out to gather up some mod items and a nice looking case in order to put together a mod article with some OCAddiction branded goodies and other stuff in order to end up with a nice looking case and relatively easy mods that anyone could do. Since I had a good time along the way I thought I would share my experiences and offer up a nice case mod walk-through.

OCA Project CASEMOD featuring the Antec Plus View 1000AMG

    Introduction

A few months ago I set out to gather up some mod items and a nice looking case in order to put together a mod article with some OCAddiction branded goodies and other stuff in order to end up with a nice looking case and relatively easy mods that anyone could do. Since I had a good time along the way I thought I would share my experiences and offer up a nice case mod walk-through.

    Overview

I planned on taking what I thought was one of the best looking cases on the market. Installing a top bullet window with 92mm fan and grill, dremel out all the stock fan grill holes, tie up all wiring in loop and braided cable, install LED fans in every place possible, gather OCA branded fan grills, appliqués and call it a day. Let's get started shall we?

The first thing that arrived was the awesome Antec Plus View 1000 AMG Metallic Grey SOHO Server Case. This thing is absolute gorgeousness in every sense of the word. Seriously, pictures don't even do this thing justice and I would like to thank ANTEC for providing it for the mod article. Here are a few pics fresh out of the box before we broke out the dremel and cutting tools.

Now that we've seen a few shots of the stock case. Here is a list of all the items I plan on putting in it.

    • Antec Plus View 1000AMG Provided by ANTEC Inc.

    • Enermax 365G Provided by SidewinderComputers

    • Bullet Window w/92mm Fan, Case Badge Domes Provided by ZXMods

    • LED Fans, Blue Loom, Blue Cable Braiding Provided by Xoxide

    • Custom OCA Fan Grill Bought from KoolPCMods (no longer available)

    • Custom OCA Appliqués from Shattered Web (will soon be available)

    Goodies

Ok, now we know what parts we have on hand to install. Let's start out with the Bullet Window provided by ZXMods. This thing is gorgeous.
