    Aspire X-Cruiser - Overview

As you can see, adding a few UV lights and some UV reflective hardware is just good sense with this case. It's far sexier than a standard mid-tower, and it even won approval from my significant other. Overall, this case has a few problem areas. It might seem like I listed off a lot, but really most things were minor complaints about a very nice case. Overall, it has a tendency to make everything else in your computer area look dull since it's so damn eye-catching.

    Pros

    • Dead sexy overall look.
    • Throwback analog gauges are a great looking feature.
    • Use of a VU gauge is just cool for the nostalgic factor.
    • Decent paint job.
    • Relatively quiet and very effective cooling.
    • Clever use of size-adjustable fan port.
    • Pre-mods are well done.
    • Included LED fans and adjustable CPU duct are a nice touch.
    • Pre-configured USB/1394 wires.
    • Removable mobo tray.
    Cons
    • Misleading 120mm front fan grille.
    • Magnetic contact points aren't implemented as well as they could be, though it's a cood concept.
    • Headphone jack sound quality problems.
    • Removable mobo tray does not remove rear slots.

That about does it for the Aspire X-Cruiser today. DevHardware would like to thank the people at Aspire for supplying the review sample. You can check out their web site or products page.
