So let's move on. Antec has done a good job with the manual. stated When it comes to the Card Reader setup, they took that extra little step again. They give you very detailed instructions on how to install it on a Windows based machine, but the thing that impressed me the most about it is that they have a little supplement thrown in to help you get the Card Reader up and running under Linux. Kudos to Antec for this!
Taking off the top and side panels shows what's inside:
There is a standard Aluminum Frame. Notice that black dot up there, it is a rubber stopper to help keep the top panel from sagging in the middle. There is one on the other side as well. The top half of the case is removable for Hard Drive and CD/DVD/CDRW installation. On top of the HD/CD holder is a stamped Antec logo. It looks great, but you will only see it when the top is off.
You can see those two black rubber feet on the edges of the picture.
When you install your hard drive and CDRom drive it will look something like this (note that I have turned upside down).
Earlier I mentioned the accessories such as the Antec Slot Cooler. Something else caught my eye when I opened up the accessory box. Antec has provided rubber grommets on the motherboard screws; that may not seem like much, but when you start moving a PC around from place to place, that tiny little extra effort may be the difference in whether your next boot up will be your last or not.
The Antec Slot Coolers have been around for awhile and serve a very good purpose. Back in the Pentium II Stone Age, I had an Antec Slot Cooler under my video card to help pull the heat off the GPU and it worked pretty well. Since there are pretty tight spaces in the ARIA, the Slot Cooler has again been resurrected.
